One point before signing in. Ontario accounts sit on a separate version of the site, operating under iGaming Ontario rather than the Kahnawake licence that covers the rest of Canada. Credentials do not carry between the two versions. An Ontario account will not open on the general site and vice versa.
Everything below is for accounts that will not open: what each failure state means, how to tell the official domain from an imitation, and what to do when access is blocked deliberately rather than accidentally.
Signing in from desktop or phone
Either the registered email address or the account number works as the identifier. The account number is issued at registration and appears in confirmation emails — worth locating in advance, because it is the identifier support will ask for.

Six reasons a login fails, in order of likelihood
Most sign-in failures at this operator resolve in under a minute once the cause is identified. The table works from the most common cause down.

Password resets run through the registered email address. If that address is no longer accessible, the reset cannot complete and the account has to be recovered through support with identity documents — which is the practical reason to keep the registered email current.
Telling the official site from an imitation
Casino brands attract lookalike domains, and a login page is the highest-value target on any gambling site because it collects credentials and sits next to payment details. Four signals confirm a genuine Zodiac Casino page, and all four can be checked in under a minute.
- A working Kahnawake certificate link. The footer carries a link into the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's certificate register. On the genuine site it resolves to a live certificate record; imitations use a static image with no destination.
- A live eCOGRA seal. The eCOGRA badge should open the operator's certification record on eCOGRA's own domain, not a copied graphic.
- A named corporate entity. The footer identifies the company operating the site along with a registration number and registered address. A page that cannot say who runs it is not a page to enter a password into.
- HTTPS with a valid certificate. Necessary but not sufficient — imitation sites obtain certificates too, which is why the three checks above matter more.
Reaching the site through a bookmark or by typing the address is safer than through a search result or an email link. Passwords should be unique to this account, and deposits or withdrawals should never be made over public Wi-Fi.
Three different kinds of closed account
Being unable to log in is not one situation. It is three, and they resolve very differently.
Pending verification
Access limited while identity documents are reviewed. Resolved by supplying clear, unexpired documents matching the registered name and address. Usually the fastest of the three to clear.
Suspended by the operator
Imposed after a security or compliance review. Resolution starts with a written request to support quoting the account number, and escalates to the regulator if unanswered — the escalation route is set out here, including where a balance is involved.
Self-excluded or cooling off
Access is blocked because the account holder asked for it to be. Cooling-off runs from 24 hours to six weeks; self-exclusion runs for a minimum of six months. Neither is lifted early, and that is the point of them.
On the third case there is nothing to troubleshoot. A self-exclusion working as designed is a locked door doing its job, and no legitimate method exists to open it before the term expires. Reports from players indicate that exclusion does not always propagate cleanly to every brand in the Casino Rewards group, so anyone who has excluded for reasons of harm should also install independent blocking software and raise the request in writing with the relevant regulator — iGaming Ontario for Ontario accounts, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission elsewhere.
